Exocarpus Aphylla

This shrub, while leafless, is so thickly branched that it provides one of the best shade shrubs in this region. The flowers are very small and the fruit is a small drupe.This shrub is reported to have a very large red stem on the fruit which is edible, however this has not been seen on the shrubs in the region.
