Pointed Mallee
This is a mallee eucalypt growing
to over 6m with multiple trunks. The white flowers grow in clusters at
the end of a long stalk. The lanceolate leaves are a matt blue green
and somewhat larger than those of other eucalypts in the region.
Old bark forms a sock near the base but higher up peels away in strips
leaving a
whitish smooth covering. Buds have a long beaked cap ending in a point,
while the
fruits are globular with protruding valves.
