Yorrel
This is a mallee eucalypt growing
to over 6m with multiple trunks. The lanceolate leaves are a glossy
deep green sometimes with red margins.
Old bark forms a sock near the base but higher up peels away leaving a
whitish smooth covering. Buds have a short conical cap, while the
fruits are cup-shaped and have enclosed valves.
