Eremophila Glabra ssp Glabra |
|
Common Emu Bush
The common emu bush is a shrub
growing
to about 1m high by 1m across. It is seen sometimes in gardens,
although its more
interesting brother Eremophila Maculata (spotted emu bush) is more
common. In the Murray Mallee, the flowers are rather sparse and not
easy to see. The flowers have a characteristic elongated shape with the
brightly coloured petals splitting and folding out, one segment folds
underneath and three shorter ones fold upwards.
